NSISP: Come learn English, study in a public school, live with a host family, and make friendships to last a lifetime!

The Nova Scotia International Student Program (NSISP) has been offering an exceptional education and English immersion experience to international students since 1997. The two Canadians gave an orientation of what their program is all about to WISE program officers, specialists, and to interested Cebuanos last October 10, 2018, in Quest Hotel Cebu – Cebu City.

One-on-one assessment with Ms. Andrea Ashton and WISE program officers

What’s in Nova Scotia?

  • Known as “Canada’s Education Province” with 10 universities
  • Canada’s warmest province
  • Welcoming communities
  • 95% English speaking population
  • Secure, clean living environment, and affordable cost of living

What are some of the programs of NSISP?

  • Short-term Program – is a 4– 8-week group placement of total English immersion in Nova Scotia schools (generally elementary or junior high schools). Students participating in this program are placed with a local host family. They also participate in activities during the week and on weekends
  • ESL Summer Camp – designed for students aged 13 – 18 and combines quality English instruction with exciting adventures and activities
  • Nova Scotia Education Immersion Program (NSEIP) – this program combines a teacher-training course at a school accredited by Quality English with a total education immersion experience in a Canadian public school environment
  • Homestay – living with a Canadian family is the best way to learn English and experience Canadian culture

In partnership with WISE Immigration and Study Services, NSISP now has an aid in helping Filipinos experience Nova Scotia as their new home.

Dreams indeed will come to life if you go to Nova Scotia!
