University of Regina

The University of Regina, or the U of R is a public research university established in 1974. It is known for its welcoming environment. Its international students make up 17.7 percent of total students and 14.7 percent of students self-declaring as Indigenous. The U of R has ten faculties and 25 academic departments/schools with established reputations for excellence and innovative programs leading to bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees. The university offers over 190 undergraduate and graduate programs. It provides high-quality experiential learning to its students moving beyond the classroom- fieldwork, apprenticeships, performances, and academic exchanges.
